Corporate Amundi welcomes Irish golfer Lauren Walsh into its European team and renews its support to the KPMG

Amundi, the leading European asset manager, has announced that Lauren Walsh, a promising Irish golfer, has joined the Amundi European Team. Amundi also continues to support the development of international women's golf tournaments with the renewal of its partnership with the KPMG Women's Irish Open.

Lauren Walsh, 23, turned professional in the summer of 2023. On May 1^st, she joined the Amundi European Team *, an initiative launched in 2021 as part of the Amundi Women Talent Programme. This programme aims to support promising young female golfers by providing financial support, increased visibility and access to competitive opportunities. To date, the programme has supported 16 players from Germany, the United States, China, France, Spain, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and the Czech Republic.

The renewal of Amundi’s partnership with the KPMG Women's Irish Open aligns with the company’s commitment to supporting women's golf tournaments. Amundi strengthened this commitment in 2021 by becoming the title sponsor of a women's major golf tournament ‘The Amundi Evian Championship’. Amundi is also associated with the Amundi Czech Ladies Challenge and the Amundi German Masters, the next edition of which will take place from May 16 to 19 and will feature Lauren Walsh.
