Amundi broadens its thematic ETF range with exposure to two powerful growth themes: Memory Chips & Data Centers

Amundi is enhancing its thematic ETF offering with two new solutions for investors seeking targeted exposure to Memory Chips and Data Centers: the Amundi Global Memory Chips UCITS ETF and the Amundi Global Data Center UCITS ETF.

With 17bn€ raised in 2025 and an equivalent amount in the first half of 2026 alone, thematic ETFs are showing strong momentum, supported by a range of megatrends. Investors are approaching this segment with greater selectivity and a focus on long-term convictions.

The two new ETFs are designed to provide access to structural growth opportunities arising from long-term technological transformation. They are being launched at a time when the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence and substantial investment by technology companies are accelerating demand for both infrastructure and components underpinning the digital economy.

The Amundi Global Memory Chips UCITS ETF aims to provide exposure to the key technology unlocking the AI data bottleneck, offering focused access to companies worldwide including in the US and Korea, benefiting from demand for data storage, AI infrastructure, and the current ongoing supply/demand imbalance supporting memory pricing.

The Amundi Global Data Center UCITS ETF seeks to provide exposure to companies active across the whole data center ecosystem and value chain including power, cooling, networking, and digital infrastructure. As the need for computing power, storage and connectivity continues to rise, the theme is backed by significant tailwinds.

These two new strategies complement Amundi's range of thematic ETFs which will continue to expand in the coming months in response to growing client demand for focused and innovative solutions. Thematic investing is also increasingly appealing to retail investors and digital wealth channels, as it offers exposure to long-term trends shaping the economy of the future while connecting more closely with everyday life, personal interests and beliefs.

Benoit Sorel, Head of ETF & Index business line at Amundi, commented: “Thematic ETFs are increasingly used by both retail and institutional investors as a way to express specific long-term convictions with greater selectivity. These two new strategies are designed to provide targeted access to segments of the market that may drive the next wave of innovation. They are the latest addition to an ambitious roadmap for our thematic range, which  we will continue to build out over the remainder of 2026.”
