Nominations Appointments: Cinzia Tagliabue, Gabriele Tavazzani and Franck Du Plessix

Amundi announces the following appointments:

  • Cinzia Tagliabue is appointed Chairman of Amundi Italy’s Board of Directors
  • Gabriele Tavazzani is appointed Chief Executive Officer, Amundi in Italy
  • Franck Du Plessix, is appointed Chief Executive Officer, Amundi in Austria.

Cinzia Tagliabue, Head of International Partner Networks Division and member of the General Management Committee of Amundi, Chairman of Amundi Italy’s Board of Directors

Cinzia Tagliabue has been Chief Executive Officer of Amundi in Italy since 2017, and Deputy Head of Partner Networks division and a member of the General Management Committee of Amundi since 2020, taking on the role of Head of International Partner Networks Division in March 2022. Cinzia joined Amundi from Pioneer Investments where she was Chief Executive Officer in Italy and Head of Western Europe & Latin America since 2001. Cinzia has over 30 years of experience in financial services with UniCredit, both on investment and distribution sides and she has been working in the investment industry since 1980. She has also been a member of the Boards of Capital Italia SICAV and Aviva.

Cinzia is also President of Hope Sicaf[1] and Vice-President of Assogestioni.

Gabriele Tavazzani, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Amundi in Italy

Prior to taking this new role, Gabriele Tavazzani was Chief Executive Officer of Amundi in Austria since May 2020, having been Deputy Chief Executive Officer since 2018. Before joining Amundi Austria GmbH, Gabriele was Chief Executive Officer, President of the Management Board and CIO of Amundi in Poland from 2015. Previous to this, Gabriele was Co-General Manager and Head of Sales and Marketing of Amundi Amundi in Italy from 2009. Gabriele has been working within the Crédit Agricole Group since 1996 and has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, acquired both in Italy and internationally.

Franck du Plessix, Chief Executive Officer, Amundi in Austria

Previous to this new role, Franck spent 7 years as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Amundi Czech Republic, investiční společnost, a.s., and Amundi Czech Republic Asset Management, a.s. Prior to that, Franck held various lead roles in the business development of Amundi’s retail network and partnerships. He joined Amundi in 2008 to lead the business development of structured products with the retail distribution networks.

Franck started his career at Société Générale in 1988 and held several positions in capital markets in Paris and Asia, before becoming Sales Director with Société Générale Private Banking France. From 2003, he served as Head of Sales for Structured Asset Management at SGAM AI.
